1. It's been kind of a long week. It hasn't been that difficult, but I haven't been sleeping that well. Which makes for a fairly scary drive to work. Thank goodness for those handy wake-up bumps on the side of the road.
2. Just kidding. I usually only hit those when I'm texting and trying to drink my Starbucks.
3. Seriously, just kidding... I save the texting for red lights.
4. I need some reading suggestions. I mean, not for this weekend, because I have the horrible-ness that is inventory. But for afterwards. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
5. So, I'm trying to be loyal to The Office. It's not good since Steve Carrell left. Like really, really not good. But still, I watch, in vain hopes of them getting it together and fixing it.
6. I think they should start by getting rid of James Spader. Just saying.
7. At my Store #2, there is a really, really smart girl that works there. She's like 12 and working on her Master's in Super Smart Girl Saving The World. I think she thinks I'm a moron.
8. It doesn't help that I think she thinks this, and so I get a little nervous around her and tend to babble.
9. Which doesn't really help me seem any smarter. Also, I realize that this is a completely childish reaction.
10. So today, I was trying to think of reasonable things to talk to her about during her seemingly endless four hour shift, when, blessedly, an Adele song came on. Because, let's face it. When it comes to Adele, I'm pretty much a world leading expert.
11. So I asked her if she likes Adele, and she was all like "um, no". And then she asked if I did, and I said "she's pretty much my hero". To which she replied..... "Oh, so you like Adele and Twilight".
12. Yes. Yes I do.
Have a great weekend Y'all!!!!

Nooooo, I absolutely am beginning to love James Spader on the show! His Robert California is so weird I'm lovin' him!!!
Maybe that girl ought to go work at Hollister?
I never watched the office. However, I do hope you watch Modern Family.
I SO agree with you about The Office!!!!
sara, i'm dyyyyying at your description of the masters school girl. for the record, she likes the office, but i don't know how she feels about robert california. my opinion? he's awkward. not the michael/lovable kind of awkward, but just disturbing awkward.
she also likes soccer (european mostly), germany (she wants to study abroad), & guys with beards. this is a cheat sheet -- i have compiled it over many maaaaany conversations.
i am so glad you gave me the link to your blog. you are hilarious & i'm excited to write what you write!
Don't let that girl hate on you about your Adele love! Just b/c she's young and smart doesn't mean she's got good taste!
I just started eat pray love and I love it so far!
I do agree that The Office has probably jumped the shark, sadly.
Books...hmmm. I haven't read much lately, but I have Saving Cee Cee Honeycutt on my nightstand.
